MOCZULSKI, Mary Jane "MJ" (Age 67) 

Long-time resident of Cheney, Washington, passed away November 30, 2008 in 
Spokane, Washington. She was born December 8, 1940 in Cleveland, Ohio. Mary 
Jane and husband Mitch made their move from Ohio to the small town of Cheney, WA 
were they became local small business owners with the purchase of supermarkets. 
Raising a family and working full-time at the store created many challenges for the 
Moczulskis. MJ with her strong family ties and hard work ethic left a business now run 
by her surviving children. MJ loved spending time with her children and grandkids. 
Birthdays, Easter, Thanksgiving and Christmas were always special moments held in 
the highest tradition. Mary Jane also taught Sunday School at their local church and 
her love for gardening led her to the presidency of The Cheney Garden Club. Things 
remembered about her were her love for dancing. Mary Jane is survived by her 
husband, Mitchell Moczulski of Cheney, WA; children, Steven Moczulski, Robin 
Rickert, Jerry Moczulski and David Moczulski; brothers, Emil Pocisk (Deceased) and 
William Pocisk; sisters, Betty Schura and Kathy James; 10 grandchildren and one 
great-grandchild. Mary Jane's memory lives on in the children she left behind and the 
lives she touched through friendships with one another. God bless with love and 
devotion. Memorial contributions may be made the Spokane Guild School, 2118 W 
Garland Ave. Spokane, WA 99205. Visitation will be 5 - 7:00 p.m. Friday, December 
5th at Cheney Funeral Chapel. A Funeral Service will be held at 1:00 pm, Saturday, 
December 6th at CHENEY FUNERAL CHAPEL, 1632 W. FIRST ST. IN CHENEY WA.
