Roslyn Pesin March 25, 2010 - Beloved wife, mother,
mother-in-law, grandmother, great- grandmother, sister,
sister-in-law, aunt, great-aunt. Born January 22, 1912 to Eva
and Jacob Baer in Exeter Borough, PA. Survived by brother,
Alvin Baer, Highland Park, NJ; son, Dr. Donald (Eleanor)
Jeck, Tucson, AZ and grandchildren, Rachael (Henry Millner)
Jeck, Pacific Palisades, CA, Dr. David Jeck (Dr. Tracy)
Tucson, AZ, Eric (Christine) Jeck, San Mateo, CA, Douglas
Jeck, Seattle WA, Steve (Cathy) Jeck, Plantation, FL; great-
grandchildren, Hannah, Maya, Aaron, Julia, Jacob, William
and Henry; nephews, Arthur (Janice) Baer, David (Lynn) Baer,
Dr. Jay (Lee) Baer, Dr. Richard (Nancy) Baer; nieces, Evelyn
(Fred) Block, Ellen (Charles) Englehardt; daughter-in-law,
Linda Jeck, Jenkintown, PA. Pre-deceased by husband, Julius
Pesin; son, Terry Jeck and brothers, Joseph, Archie, Harold
and Morris. Roz moved early in life to Jersey City, NJ. She
spent many years between Jersey City and Union City, NJ.
She moved to Lauderdale Lakes, Florida before spending
the past 12 years in Tucson, AZ. She was a homemaker, but
also worked as a bookkeeper, secretary, and saleswoman.
Roz was a very positive, nurturing, loving person. Family
was a central theme in her life. She reveled in her family
relationships. She also had a positive impact on everyone
around her. She loved singing and music, crossword
puzzles, chocolate, coffee and life in general. She was a
life member of Hadassah, and a member of Congregation
Anshei Israel. She will be truly missed. The funeral was held
in New Jersey on March 28, 2010. Remembrances in her
name may be made to Congregation Anshei Israel or
Tucson Community Food Bank.
