Lund, Sara Frances (Rush) 73, went to be with the Lord on March 21, 2010. Sara was born in Waynesburg, Pennsylvania on January 2, 1937. She and her husband Dick, of almost 53 years, had five sons: Michael, Stan, Tim, John, and Steve. They presently have six grandchildren with another on the way and five step-grandchildren. At present they have one great-grandson, Tyler, with another on the way. Dick and Sara met and married in Washington, D.C. while he was in the Navy. They moved to Phoenix in 1986. They were very active with their church, Northwest Valley Baptist. A memorial service will be held at Northwest Valley Baptist Church, 4030 W. Yorkshire Dr. in Glendale, on Saturday, March 27 at 6:30 PM. Arrangements have been entrusted to Heritage Funeral Chapel. Published in The Arizona Republic on March 24, 2010
