| Wanda Walker Baugh, 80, of Ojai, passed away Thursday, Aug. 18, 2011, at home with her beloved dogs by her side, following a brief bout of ovarian cancer. |
| Wanda was born Nov. 26, 1930, in Kansas City, Mo., to Orval and Betty Chesnut. Wanda and her husband Edward Walker were longtime active residents of Ventura. Edward passed away in 1986. Following his death Wanda met and married Richard Baugh of Ventura. They then moved to Grass Valley where they lived for 16 years. |
| Richard passed away in 2002, and Wanda returned to Ventura County to be close to her daughter Lisa and family. Wanda was passionate about art and loved to travel. She also enjoyed golfing and was an excellent bridge player. She will always be remembered as a gracious hostess; she found great enjoyment in entertaining friends in her home. Wanda believed deeply in giving back to the community by volunteering. She was involved with Friends of the Library, Assistance League Ventura County, Community Memorial Hospital Auxiliary, the PEO Sisterhood and RotaryAnns. |
| She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Lisa and David Van Epp of Ojai; granddaughter, Megan Van Epp of Ojai; and her beloved dachshunds, Jack and Jill. |
