Kelly, Mary B. July 8, 1922 - July 6, 2011 Mary a long time resident of San Francisco was born in Los Angeles to John & Mary Barrett. She is preceded in death by her loving husband Martin J. Kelly and her sister Sara Shields and brother John Barrett. She had an ex-tremely close bond with them and missed them all deeply. Mary is survived by her daughters Maureen Durkin (Mike) Susan Harty (Desi) and was the proud and loving grandmother to Megan, Brian and Rory Harty. They are all thankful she is at peace but, will miss her daily. Mary is also survived by her sisters in law Mary Kelly (Tom) Peggy Kelly (Mike) and many nieces and nephews here and in Ireland. Her cousins of So. California the McMonagle's and her childhood friend who she has known for over 77 years, Morella Staggs. Mary will be remembered as a compassionate and caring woman with a strong faith in God. She had a passion for reading and saying the rosary at least twice a day, more if you asked her to pray for someone. The family would like to say a special thank you to Bernadette Kennedy and all the staff of West-borough Royale in So. San Francisco, where mom called home since 1996. Their friendship, compassion and respect were seen on a daily basis. Viewing will begin at 5:00pm followed by a rosary at 7:00pm on Sunday July 10, at Duggan's Serra Mortuary, 500 Westlake Ave, Daly City. A Funeral Mass will be at St. Dunstan Church, 1133 Broadway, Millbrae Monday at 11:00am. Burial will fol-low at Holy Cross Cemetery in Colma.
