Laetsch, Therese Nita

Therese "Nanny" Nita Laetsch (nee Franks), 81, passed away 
September 11, 2010 at Odyssey Inpatient Hospice, Tucson, AZ. 
She was born January 27, 1929 in Cambridge, England. She is 
survived by her eight children, Nasima/Faune (Ray) Bernhardt, 
KarinAnn (Bill) Czechowski, Colleen Carr, Kevin (Cheryl) Laetsch, 
Martha Marois, Becky (Mike) Flynn, Dan (Stacy) Laetsch and Ian 
Laetsch; her sister, Moya (Andrew) Scott; 20 grandchildren and 
17 great-grandchildren. She was married first to George Davis, 
later to Kenneth Laetsch and had a relationship with Vernon 
Hicks. Terry was a teenager during WWII in Cambridge, England 
and spoke of bombings, sirens and bomb shelters. Terry loved 
the desert and moved to Tucson in 1970 where she remained. 
Therese was a beatnik, strong minded and a free spirit. Her 
ashes are being kept close with her children. Donations in her
