Jordan, Charles William

Charles "Chuck" William Jordan Danville Resident Age 72, 
passed away in Concord, CA on Wednesday, August 18, 2010 
following a short illness. Chuck was born November 25, 1937 
in Monterey, California, one of two children of Charles and 
Edna Jordan, and has resided the past 41 years in Danville. He 
served his country in the U.S. Naval Reserve for ten years. 
Chuck earned his Master of Business Administration degree 
from Golden Gate University in San Francisco in the 1970's, 
completing his studies while also working for Bechtel 
Corporation. He retired from Bechtel Corp. as a Manager of 
Engineering after 40 years of service in 2000. A devoted family 
man, he also loved fishing and cruising on the Delta in his 
classic 1928 all wood 40 foot cabin cruiser, the "Alibi III". 
Chuck will be deeply missed by his loving wife of 48 years, 
Elaine Jordan of Danville; beloved children Patrick Allan Jordan
(Christy) of Las Vegas, NV, Sean Ross Jordan (Fianc Janet 
Anderson) of Danville, and Jessica Jordan of Santa Monica, CA; 
his loving sister Joan Peradotto of Mountain View, CA; 
cherished grandchildren Kelly, Kaitlyn, and Jaden Jordan of 
Danville, Brittany Cardenas of Las Vegas, and David Lynam of 
Windham, CT; and by one adored great granddaughter, 
Charlotte Lynam. A public Celebration of Life for Chuck will be 
held from 1-4p.m. on Saturday October 2nd, 2010 at FAZ 
Restaurant, 600 Hartz Ave in Danville CA. Questions or
