Buono, Nick Nov 30, 1920 - Aug 24, 2010 Our beloved Father, Grand-father and Great-Grandfather passed away on August 24, 2010. Nick is preceded in death by his wife Angelina. Nick was born in San Diego, CA on November 30, 1920. He graduated from San Diego High in 1939. He served in the U.S. Army from August 1942 through January 1946. In 1944 he married the love of his life, Angelina Binetti. Along with his brothers and sisters he owned and operated Buono's Market located at 30th Street and Imperial Avenue in San Diego. Nick enjoyed playing golf and was treasurer of the Italian-American Golf Assoc. for 25 years. After retiring in 1980 Nick and Angie enjoyed traveling and went on 13 Cruises around the world. He enjoyed family gatherings and spending time with his friends. We will miss his joyful spirit, bright smile, big heart and his quick wit. He will be dearly missed. Nick is survived by his son John, daughter in law Pauline, grand-daughter Michele (Dan) Ingram, great- granddaughter Gianna, grandson John (Amy), sister Clara Hendrick and many nieces and nephews.
