| Jardine, Kristen Marie Kristen Jardine, beloved daughter of Lee and David Jardine, passed away at age 23 on Sunday, March 7, 2010. Kristen was born on May 19, 1986 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, and was raised in Lake Forest Park, Washington. She had a contagious enthusiasm for life and was a constant joy to her family and close friends. Throughout her life, Kristen was a voracious reader and a determined self-learner. She was an accomplished artist, who once covered the entirety of the walls and ceiling of her room with her sketches and drawings. Recently, she had been a passionate student at Seattle Central Community College, with plans to enter the University of Washington. Kristen keenly enjoyed a wide range of music and was concerned about preserving the world for the future. She loved warm, sunny days and had a gift for finding happiness in life's many small adventures. She cheerfully shared her delights with the people who were close to her, enriching our lives. Although her 23 years were far too short and we miss her with all our hearts, we are grateful that we were able to share in her journey and her joys. Kristen is survived by her parents, Lee and David, brothers Joe and Dan, grandparents Bill and Mary Vaughan, aunts, uncles, cousins and her beloved cat Mocha. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, March 27th at 3 PM at the University Congregational United Church of Christ, 4515 - 16th Ave N.E., Seattle, WA 98105. Please share memories of Kristen with her family at www.becksfuneralhome.com. In honor of Kristen and her love of animals, memorial donations may be made to the Humane Society Kindred Spirits Memorial Program by calling 866-693-7436.
